Booking a photo shoot with the right photographer is very important.

You are always welcome to ask us any questions you have, but here are a few answers to help you.

What is a pre-wedding Shoot?
A Pre-Wedding shoot, or engagement shoot, is a photo shoot before the wedding where you can get used to the camera, build confidence so you can relax on your wedding day. Also we will put the images online (password protected) and you can pick one to go in a frame for guests to sign around on the big day. The photo shoot will be at any location in the Milton Keynes area.

What do I get on my Wedding Photography disc?
You will receive every image we edit. There is normally between 400-600 images on the disc, depending on which package you go for. We shoot in RAW which means the images will be very high quality. Within the editing we will do some black and white (but don’t worry you get the colour image as well!) and some sepia. We also do a few ‘special effects’ on request, such as scratch effect, vintage look, butterflies, rainbows, lightning and much more.

You can also print from your disc! We don’t resize the images or put a logo on them. They are your wedding photos after all!

Do you include the RAW files on the disc?
We don’t include the RAW files for three main reasons. One because we would need 20 discs or so as the image files are so big and we take so many images on the day. Two because most people won’t ever need them or know how to process them. And three because we give all the jpgs on the wedding disc. The RAWs are owned by the photographer. We are proud of all our images so we keep hold of them.

What’s the limit of photographs you take?
There’s no limit. The more moments there are to shoot, the more images we take.

We will photograph all the family and guests of the wedding, the details, the flowers, groups shots, posed shots, ceremony, confetti and anything else you might do!

How long will you be with us for on our big day?
For Bronze Package we will be with you half an hour before the ceremony until the cake cutting at the reception.

In the Silver package we will stay with you up until the First Dance.

In the Gold and Platinum Packages we will be with you in the morning as well, up until the first dance.

The Cake Cutting is within an hour of being at the reception (fake or real cake cutting) and the First Dance can be any reasonable time in the evening.

If you have any special requirements, please tell us and we’ll see what we can do for you.

How many photographers will be there?
Two. Unless you have specified to have a third photographer. This means we can capture more candid moments and the other angle to everything.

We are having our first dance at 3pm and we have you until the first dance. Does this mean you will leave at 3pm?
We will pick an estimate time to leave in the evening and if we have all the important images done by then we will ask permission before we leave. We won’t leave mid-afternoon just because you chose to have your dance earlier.

What is the wedding runs late? How much extra do you charge?
We don’t charge by the hour so there’s no extra charges. We go by ‘Cake Cutting’ or ‘First Dance’. So we won’t leave until we have completed these.

How long will the photos of me and my partner last on our wedding day?
It can be as long as you like. If you’d like a leisurely stroll around the wedding venue that’s fine with us! If you would like to split up the photo shoot in the day this is also no problem. Some people like two or three 10 minute shoots at different times of the day with different lighting. You may not want any posed photos at all! What ever you want, discuss it with us and we’ll tell you what we can do.

Our Wedding Location isn’t particularly scenic. Are you able to travel to a separate location for a photo shoot in-between the ceremony and reception?
Yes this is no problem. This depends on your wedding transport. Wedding-Car.co.uk are happy to travel to multiple locations.

Are you insured?
Yes we have full public liability and indemnity insurance with a specialised photographers insurance company.

Do you travel abroad to do weddings?
Yes. We would love to build our abroad weddings portfolio. In some abroad wedding packages the wedding photographer’s style is very cheesy and you won’t meet them until your wedding day.

Do you include prints in your package?
We only offer prints to guests after the wedding. You will have the CD so you can print your own. We suggest a professional photo lab (or supermarket) to print them as these will be best quality. They can be as little as 9p a print.

Do you do albums?
Yes, come see us in our studio in Milton Keynes to view them. Alternatively if we are going to a wedding fair near you soon, see us then!

Our wedding is between Monday and Thursday, is there a discount?
Yes. We give a 20% discount to midweek weddings. We also do a special deal for weddings at Bletchley Registry Office, Monday to Thursday the prices are from £150.

Our wedding is between October and March, is there a discount?
There is a 20% discount for winter weddings (excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year)

Will my guests be able to buy prints or the disc of images after the wedding?
Yes. All images will be online with a chosen password by you. Prints are as low as £6 and there’s the choice to buy the CD of images too. We are able to exclude certain images – such as the image you plan to use for your thank you card, or ones of the Bride in the morning getting dressed.

Are you a member or SWPP or any other society like that?
No. Simply because we don’t feel we need to pay to get qualifications. It doesn’t prove how good you are as a photographer. It just shows you are willing to pay money to have letters next to your name and the odd occasional ‘bronze award’ for an image.
We allow clients to ask us any questions and view all of our images. We let you decide what you think about our work.

How do we book?
Call or email! The deposit is £100 which books the day for you with your chosen photographer and assistant.
